Biography
Abe, longtime chair of Medill’s magazine department, became an emeritus in service in 2008, the year he moved to Santa Barbara. He continues to teach “Inside B2B Media,” direct the school’s two McAllister visiting professional programs and support other efforts. Professionally, he is executive editor of Inside Unmanned Systems and Inside GNSS, which cover the autonomous vehicle and satellite navigation spaces. He continues to consult, and was a Master Series Contributing Editor for Travel Weekly. He is an avid tai chi practitioner, and sings doo wop when people will listen.
