I train students to question concepts, make connections, and communicate nuanced ideas to various audiences. I teach using independent and group activities, lectures, small and large group seminar discussions, simulations, debates, and student presentations. I prioritize linking material to real-world examples grounded in historical and current events. I actively seek and integrate student feedback throughout a course to better facilitate student learning.
I am prepared to teach courses in Comparative Politics, Gender and Politics, International Relations, and Methods.
