I am a postdoctoral associate in the Institute for Medical Engineering & Science at MIT working with Professor Leonid Mirny.
I was previously a postdoctoral fellow in Physics & Astronomy working with Professor John Marko at Northwestern University (2013-2017). I was also affiliated with the Center for Computation and Theory of Soft Materials.
I did my PhD with Professor Andrea Liu at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, I completed my dissertation, which describes several statistical physical models of cellular and intracellular motility.
In 2007, I graduated with a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Georgetown University. I wrote a senior thesis on my research on the dynamics of sheared granular systems with Professor David Egolf.
