We are thrilled to announce that Earthtunes is now available on the Google Play Store, thanks to the efforts of former Northwestern master’s student, Omkar Ranadive. Previously accessible only on iOS, this expansion to Android devices and Chromebooks broadens our app’s reach, making it easier to integrate into classroom environments where minimizing distractions from personal devices is crucial. While the Android version features a slightly different interface, it retains all the robust functionality found in the iOS version. By transforming seismic waves into audible sound waves, Earthtunes offers students and educators a novel way to explore and understand geological phenomena directly from their Chromebooks.
