Matin Firas is an international student from Indonesia, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Criminology, Law, & Justice, with a minor in Biological Sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Counseling at Northwestern University. His clinical focus is mostly psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy with integration of other evidence-based theories. He intends to serve the adult client population of diverse backgrounds. Currently running a psychodynamic student group in his cohort, involved in anxiety research, and is a student council member for Chicago Association of Psychoanalytic Psychology (CAPP).
