Brittany Weaver

Brittany Weaver is completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University (June 2023). She was raised in Colorado and now resides in central Washington with her family. For the past year Brittany has worked to develop an integrated care practice in a rural primary care clinic and is the first mental health provider to join the team of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. She works with individuals of all ages as well as couples and families. Through her research, Brittany has learned that understanding one’s religious and spiritual identity is a key element of “honoring diversity and embracing a multicultural approach in support of the worth, dignity, potential, anduniqueness of people within their social and cultural contexts” (ACA, 2014, p. 3) and values the opportunity to share her findings with her colleagues.
