Christen Epps
I am coming to the Counseling @Northwestern program as a career changer with a background in accounting. I am currently the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Emerging Scholar for the Counseling @Northwestern online program. As an emerging scholar I work with faculty and students on initiatives that expand awareness and promote the diversity of the student body in order to enhance program curriculum. I am also passionate about supporting, elevating, and bringing awareness to aspects of diversity, equity, and inclusion that impact individuals and their communities. As I believe that counseling integrates biopsychosocial influences with diagnosis and treatment, I hope to integrate my prior experience in accounting and my experiences as a DEI Emerging scholar to empower and support my clients to attain peak wellness.
