Maggie Munday odom
Curator and Student Supervisor
Maggie Munday Odom is a junior at Northwestern pursuing a degree in Theatre and English Creative Writing. At Dittmar Memorial Gallery, she leads collaboration on curation, programming, marketing, and administrative efforts to fulfill Dittmar’s mission of creating intentional dialogue and engagement through the arts. On campus, Maggie Munday is involved in the theatre community as a playwright and board member, as well as in the mindfulness community as a meditation and yoga leader. Maggie Munday is passionate about the ability of creativity in all forms to foster curiosity, conversation, care, and celebration.
Elyse Malamud
Registrar and Student Supervisor
Elyse is a Northwestern sophomore. At the Dittmar Memorial Gallery, Elyse works with the Norris University Center’s permanent art collection and attempts to answer the question of how to best engage the public with art in spaces that are not specifically visited for art. Among her passions are: art (especially photography), nature, birdwatching, history, and curation/museums.
Jasmine Ametovski
Marketing & Communications Assistant
Jasmine Ametovski is a junior studying neuroscience on the pre-med track. Jasmine is an assistant at Dittmar Gallery and works on scheduling and organizing events. She enjoys singing in her A Capella group and painting in her free time. She likes that Dittmar lets her explore creativity amidst her scientific studies.
Gabby Gutierrez
Exhibition & Gallery Technician Assistant
Gabrielle Gutierrez is a sophomore at Northwestern University studying Legal Studies, Theatre, and Philosophy. As a Gallery Assistant at Dittmar Memorial Gallery, she participates in gallery curation and maintenance, with intentions to platform artists of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Outside of Dittmar, Gabrielle is active within the student community; she serves as a co-founder of Northwestern’s Minorities and Philosophy chapter, an executive board member in both Thunk A Cappella and Vertigo Productions, and a performer in various on-campus theatrical productions. She is a passionate creator and consumer of art, and is determined to create open spaces in which art can be created and consumed by all.
Clare Kirwan
Exhibition & Gallery Technician Assistant
Clare Kirwan is a freshman at Northwestern studying Journalism and International Studies. She is excited to join the Dittmar team as a Gallery Assistant this year. On campus, she writes for The Daily Northwestern. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, reading, and creating her own art. Clare is passionate about creating public displays of art that promote dialogue and connectivity between students on campus.
