Call for Graduate Assistant

We are seeking a graduate student interested in digital humanities to assist the facilitators and staff of the Digital Humanities Summer Workshop at Northwestern University. The Graduate Assistant will be in attendance during the two-week workshop, August 27 – September 7, 2018 (Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday from 8:30am-4:15pm, with a four-day break over the Labor Day weekend), with duties including:

  • Taking notes at sessions and discussions
  • Assisting staff with breakfast/lunch setup and cleanup
  • Attending and participating in selected sessions
  • Consulting and sharing professional experience as needed

In this highly collaborative and interdisciplinary setting, this position offers an excellent learning opportunity for a graduate student interested in new (digital) forms of pedagogy, research, and publication.

Compensation is a $500 stipend.
