
Adam Houston
Adam Houston is originally from Boone, Iowa. Upon graduating from the University of Arizona, Adam began his professional career with Giordano Dance Chicago as a Performing Associate. Following his time as a Senior Performing Associate, Adam was promoted to the main company and is honored to be in his fourth season as a Main Company Member and his sixth season with the organization. Adam has had the opportunity to perform works by Frank Chaves, Autumn Eckman, Liz Imperio, Roni Koresh, Ray Leeper, Randy Duncan, and Gus Giordano, traveling throughout the United States and in several countries such as Guatemala, Italy, Israel, and Latvia. During his time at Giordano Dance Chicago he has had the opportunity to assist Artistic Director, Nan Giordano. Adam is a sought after dance teacher and choreographer working in dance studios and schools throughout Chicagoland and the United States. He has set work at several award winning schools as well as Giordano II.

Jabowen Dixon
Ja’Bowen is a performance and visual artist based out of Chicago, Il. Since the age of 6, Ja’Bowen has been studying and performing the arts/disciplines of dance, acting, music, writing, and design. He has been most publicly noted for being a founding and principle member of the world renowned tap dance company M.A.D.D. Rhythms, since it’s creation in 2001. Through his work with M.A.D.D. Rhythms, has has had the opportunity to either learn from, or study and perform with, renowned tap greats of various generations. As a tap dancer, he has performed at many venues across the United States, and for a wide array of events, including; halftime for the Chicago bulls, featured roles in major motion picture films, national and international television spots and many more.
Currently, Ja’Bowen is taking his many years of training and experience with tap dance, and incorporating acting, music and design, back into his artistry, as a means to create and curate unique works that seek to entertain, educate and/or inspire audiences worldwide.

KC Bevis
KC Bevis got her early education from competitive dance and gymnastics. In 2014, she joined Chicago Dance Crash, a fusion/hip hop dance company. Moving into her sixth season, this will be her second year acting as the rehearsal director. KC was also a principal dancer in their most recent story show, “Bricklayers of Oz”, which was named “The most Inventive New Work of 2017” by Dance Magazine. In addition to that, she dances with Moonwater Dance Project, an all-women contemporary company, as well as a nationally touring hip hop cover band. KC seeks to have a continual journey of growth and a physical body that pushes the boundaries of dance.

Rob Welcher
Rob Welcher is a Chicago-based improviser, performer, and teacher. He is a 2018 Chicago Dancemakers Forum Lab Artist, a 2018 & 2019 Chicago DCASE individual artist grantee, and a 2017 Links Hall Summer Resident artist. He is part of the team that facilitates the weekly Chicago contact jam. He is a frequent guest contact improv teacher at DePaul and Columbia in Chicago. Outside Chicago he’s recently taught at Purdue CI Gathering (2018 & 2019) Ontario Regional Contact Jam (2017-18), NDEO’s Men in Dance Conference (2017). His most recent work includes Volledig: Emptied of Shame, Full of Life (Nov/Dec 2018) about living through the HIV/AIDS Crisis; Sword Fights and Other Things to Do with Your Manhood (Feb 2019) about masculinity through the lens of gay men.

Robyn Williams
Robyn Mineko Williams danced for River North Dance Company and was a member of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for twelve seasons. She’s created work for Hubbard Street, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Malpaso Dance Company, Charlotte Ballet and more; her works have been presented at venues including the Kennedy Center, the Joyce Theatre, Jacob’s Pillow, American Dance Festival and MCA Chicago. She was one of 2014 Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” and is a four time Princess Grace Foundation–USA grant recipient. Her performance series, Undercover Episodes, currently tours the US.
