Chicago CUE.NEXT Workshop

The Chicago CUE.NEXT Workshop will be held at the following location:

Applications are welcome from teams of 2-5 faculty. Each team needs to include at least one member from a computing-centric department (CS, CE, ECE, or IS) and at least one from a non-computing centric discipline. Team members do not need to come from a single institution. Each workshop can accommodate 80 to 100 participants. We encourage participation from all types of institutions including doctoral, masters, undergraduate, liberal arts, technical, HBCU, and tribal colleges, both research focused and teaching focused.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, and accepted teams will be notified as soon as we can make a decision. It is to your advantage to apply earlier rather than later, full consideration for the Chicago workshop is given to applications received before October 29.

2. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, and accepted teams will be notified as soon as we can make a decision. It is to your advantage to apply earlier rather than later, and certainly no later than October 28, 2019, in the case of the first workshop, in Chicago.

3. Some suggestions for how to assemble a team can be found in our FAQ. These are just suggestions and in no way obligatory.

NSF funding will be provided to cover travel, food, and lodging for teams from US Institutions participating in the workshops. We can reimburse travel up to $1200 per participant, but ask for reasonable use of funds and will only support reimbursement of economy domestic airfare, train fare, and standard lodging choices; please contact us if exceptions are required.

The Washington, D.C. CUE.NEXT Workshop will be held at the following location:
