Grand Rounds 2022-2023

Grand Rounds

Counsleing@Northwestern provides contemporary Grand Rounds, during which attendees can receive NBCC CEs by learning from experts in the field. Grand Rounds used to be a time when young physicians discussed their patients’ cases with their peers and students (with the patient present), and more experienced physicians questioned the presenter and provided insight sometimes and criticism at other times.

Our modern-day Grand Rounds are friendly and inviting as groups of people join together from across the country to gain a deeper understanding of complex issues in our field. Our volunteer presenters are passionate about their areas of study and clinical work and include topics such as counseling ethics, competencies, case studies, theories of counseling, multicultural counseling, and more!
