On April 13, 2023, the first annual D.R.I.V.E. Symposium was hosted by the Counseling Department at The Family Institute at Northwestern University’s DEI Inter Campus Faculty Committee and the Student DEI Advisory Board.
Opening with a Keynote by Counseling@Northwestern Associate Program Director and Illinois Counseling Association President Dr. Stef Standefer, the D.R.I.V.E. Symposium is intended to demonstrate and celebrate dignity, respect, inclusion, veracity, and equity. The symposium’s 14 speakers provided people with the opportunity to learn ways to incorporate D.R.I.V.E. into their daily lives and work.
