The internship search process, especially for the uninitiated, can be quite a challenging one. The CFS office was incredibly helpful for me when navigating this process. The first stage of help was the wealth of information that I was able to receive from the Karen. She helped provide me with not just an understanding of what the companies do, but also the quality of the internship experience. I was looking for an experience that would help prepare me for strategy/management consulting recruitment in the fall and was eventually able to get placed into my first choice internship at Egon Zehnder. The CFS office has a number of tools including mock interviews and resume reviews to help set its students in the best possible situation to receive internship offers. During the internship search process, one of my most difficult obstacles was an exploding offer very early on in the application process. This firm crossed off all the boxes of what I was looking for from my CFS experience, but I hadn’t had a chance to hear back from my top choice yet. Karen helped me extend the deadline of my initial offer while also guiding me through getting the interview process sped up at my other top choices. All the work paid off as I have had a chance to spend the last ten weeks working a great internship with Egon Zehnder. Looking forward into full-time recruitment, the search work I did with the CFS office has given me the confidence and the skills to navigate the process successfully. Thank you so much CFS!
