The genetic basis of phenotypic variation in complex traits

The Andersen lab uses classical, quantitative, and molecular genetics to understand the polymorphisms that underlie multigenic traits of medical, agricultural, and ecological importance. We focus on how conserved signal transduction pathways vary in their control of quantitative traits like drug sensitivities, fat accumulation and storage, and developmental states.
