Associate Master Christina Russin

Chris Russin is a senior lecturer in the Program in Biological Sciences. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in botany in 1998 and came to Northwestern in 2003. She teaches several classes about plants, including Plant-People Interactions and Plant Biology. She loves insanely large jigsaw puzzles, complicated cross-stitch, baking, and gardening. She is also attempting to learn crochet, but it is going slowly. She blames her left-handedness, but this could be to divert attention from her poor motor skills. Five reasons why she loves CCS are “the close-knit community, the wealth of talent, the spirit of service, the diversity of the students, and, I have to say, the support of my overly enthusiastic desserts. CCS is awesome!”
