John Trimble
John Trimble (BS’71) is an educator and activist. He was an engineering major at Northwestern and taught computer science and engineering in various countries, including the USA, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and South Africa. He has served as President of the International Network on Appropriate Technology, organizing international conferences in several African countries. Since 1974, John has been involved in African Liberation Day projects and has collaborated with the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Africa. Currently residing in South Africa, he continues his organizing efforts.
