I completed my PhD program at Wonkwang University in Korea. Mainly, I focused on Lag3 project. Outside of the lab, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching TV shows and sports games.

Research Technician

I am a research technician and have worked in the lab almost for 15 years. I have worked on various research projects. Currently I am working on defining the role of IL-27 and IL-30 in T cells (supporting Dongkyun’s project) and on examining the roles of Tregs during steroid-responsive asthmatic inflammation (supporting Supinya’s project).

I am a second year DGP student (class of 2021), and I joined the Min lab in the summer of 2022. I majored in biotechnology for undergrad in Yonsei University, South Korea, and focused on Th17 cells/inflammation for my master’s project in the same school. My current research project consists of studying regulatory T cells in the context of cellular metabolism. Outside of lab, I am still enjoying exploring new places in Chicago!

I am a second-year undergraduate student studying Biology and Chemistry at Northwestern University. In the lab, I am working to learn about the research process and develop my own research interests. Ultimately, I hope to attend graduate school to study immunology. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and reading.

I joined the lab in October 2023 after three years of working as a science teacher. My current research project revolves around LAG3, and I also help support other members’ projects. I am working to gain experience and knowledge that will best prepare me for graduate school. Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading and playing card games.

I graduated with a master’s and doctoral degree in neuroscience from Ewha Womans University, South Korea. I joined the MinLab as a postdoctoral researcher in April 2024, and the research project I am currently working on is focused on Ifit2. Outside of the lab, I enjoy practicing Pilates and traveling to new places.
