Upcoming Events – Fall 2022
Aviation Club meets on Monday nights at 8pm in Tech LR3.
- On Monday, September 26, join us for an informal info session and get-to-know-you. Meet our exec board in a relaxed environment, get to know your fellow aviation enthusiasts, and ask questions about the club and how to get involved.
- On Monday, October 3, we’ll be hosting a Top Gun watch party. Stop by to watch your favorite pilots conquer tough missions at top speeds.
Past Events – Spring 2022
Join us on Monday, May 2 at 20:00 (8:00pm) in Annenberg G21 to hear from TOPGUN Instructor Tom Trotter to hear about his experience teaching Navy fighter pilots how to fly. Besides sharing his experience, Tom will answer questions from club members, so come with all the things you’ve ever wanted to know about being a Naval aviator.
Ever wondered what it’s like out on the ramp (the place where planes park) at a major international airport? Join Aviation Club for a tour at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday, May 10. We will get a private tour of ORD’s operations. We are capped at 40 people for the event and are required to submit the names of people attending for security, so fill out this form if you’re interested in coming. First come, first served.
Are you a paper airplane master? Want to start building a new skill? Either way, take a break from midterms and come build paper airplanes with Aviation Club on Monday, 4/25. We’ll be in Tech LR3 with PIZZA starting at 8:00pm.
Our first event will be a Sip ‘n Build fundraiser on April 11 at 2000 (8:00pm) on Monday, April 11. Join us to build and decorate *quaint* little airplane models and feast on the classiest snacks an Aviation Club can offer. Stay tuned for a location.
