Design Innovation, Manufacturing, and Beyond Industry Panel
In spring 2022, NU ASME worked with ECD to host a panel of speakers who shared their expertise about how companies use the engineering design process, the challenges companies faced and overcame due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and future trends in industry. The panel included speakers from Werner, Shure, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, and Northwestern University’s Professor Ed Colgate!
Mechanical/Manufacturing Industry Round Table
In winter 2022, NU ASME worked with ECD to host a round table event where students had the opportunity to “speed network” with industry representatives. Attending companies included Azul3D, Crowell & Moring, Lakeshore Exhibit Services, Monopar Therapeutics, NanoGraf, Sibel Health, and Whirlpool!
Ralph Coats Roe Lecture Reception
In 2018, NU ASME hosted a reception accompanying the presentation of the Ralph Coats Roe Medal to SpaceX COO and Northwestern Alum, Gwynne Shotwell.
