The first hosting of the workshop spawned the creation of the Anti-Racism Diversity Equity and Inclusion (ARDEI) Committee in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering’s (ChBE) at Northwestern University.

One of the initiatives of the ChBE ARDEI Committee is the continued development and annual hosting of the CYR Workshop. The following committee members have contributed by developing new case studies and continually improving the workshop:
