Kevin Vasquez
Ph.D. candidate, Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering, McCormick School of Engineering
M.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin
B.S. Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Cornell University
Kevin is a third year Ph.D. student in the chemical engineering department. He was born in Medellín, Colombia but grew up in Malden, Massachusetts. His research aims to understand cellular stress response through genetic and epitranscriptomic signatures. By understanding the regulation of translation, we aim to develop novel cancer therapeutic approaches. Outside of research, Kevin loves learning languages and exploratory cooking experiences. He is also a huge meme enthusiast.
