Mohamad Kodaimati

I am a joint graduate student in the Schatz and Weiss groups. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina, and I did my undergraduate work at the University of Chicago where I majored in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biochemistry. I study the photo-physics of quantum dots, specifically trying to understand energy transfer between quantum dots (QDs) in films and solutions using both experimental and theoretical techniques. My goals are to understand how modifying the surface chemistry of QDs can affect energy-transfer as well as multi-exciton processes within these systems.

I spend most of my free time reading, at the gym, playing basketball, and just trying to be active.
