I am a first-year PhD student in applied physics, co-advised by Prof. George Schatz and Prof. Teri Odom. I grew up in Yantai, China, and received my bachelor’s degree in physics from Sichuan University, China. As an undergraduate, I worked on optical measurement of aerosol size distribution based on Mie theory. My current research focuses on how plasmonic materials manipulate light on the nanometer scale and their application in lasing. In my spare time, I enjoy jogging, cooking and hanging out with friends.
