I’m a graduate student in chemistry in the research groups of Professors George Schatz and Mark Ratner. I graduated from Colgate University in 2012 with a BA in chemistry and French. I am interested in approaching and describing plasmons from a quantum mechanical perspective, and I study plasmonic excitations in silver nanoclusters. I also study surface reaction mechanisms in the presence of subsurface hydrogen and surface doping in two-dimensional semiconductors. In my free time I enjoy reading about history, watching baseball, and cooking.
