Congrats to Marija, Erika, Tracey, and Jake on their fellowships!
Congrats to several lab members on receiving new fellowships! Marija received the Chemistry of Life Processes (CLP) University Fellowship, and the Biotechnology Training Program (BTP) appointed Erika and Tracey as Trainee members and Jake as a Cluster member. Congrats all!
Welcome to new lab members Tracey, Kevin, and Cat!
A (somewhat belated) welcome to our newest lab members, Cat Majors, Tracey Dinh, Kevin Shebek! Cat is joining us as a Postdoctoral Fellow and will be working on protein engineering for biosensors, and Tracey and Kevin will both be working towards their PhD’s on team Computational (oohrah). Looks like teams are getting pretty even for the next Tyo Cup — look out experimentalists…

Welcome to new lab members Marija Milisavljevic, Nathaniel Polley, and Sara Wixon! Marija will be working toward her Ph.D. with team DNA Polymerase, and Nathaniel and Sara will be working toward their M.S. in Biotechnology – Nathaniel with team Computational Metabolic Engineering and Sarah with team Experimental Metabolic Engineering.

Congratulations to Erika Arvay and Joseph Ni! Erika was awarded the NIH Biotechnology Training Program Cluster Fellowship, and Joseph was awarded the Northwestern Institute for Sustainability and Energy (ISEN) Cluster Fellowship. These are both highly competitive fellowships that recognize their efforts in these respective fields, and will allow them to each participate in various related efforts and training activities at Northwestern. Way to go kiddos!
