About me

I am a third-year graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University. I am interested in the use of natural language processing models and statistical tools in the investigation of how the human brain solves problems of language comprehension, production, and acquisition. One of my ongoing projects investigates the question of what type of phonetic information facilitates perceptual adaptation to foreign-accented speech. Another recent project of mine involves uses an interpolated language model to examine first pass reading measures as a function of entropy over upcoming words.
