DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Directions to Northwestern University Segal Visitors Center and adjoining South Campus Parking Garage:
FROM THE NORTH, VIA I-94
Exit I-94 at Skokie Boulevard (U.S. 41); go south to Lake Avenue. Turn left onto Lake Avenue and travel east for about three miles. Turn right onto Sheridan Road. Follow Sheridan Road, turning left to stay on Sheridan Road. The Visitor Center will be on the left.
FROM THE WEST/NORTHWEST, VIA I-88, I-90 OR I-190
Take I-88, I-90 or I-190 east to I-294 North; take I-294 to the Dempster Street exit. Take Dempster east for 10 miles through a number of suburbs. Turn left onto Ridge Avenue. Turn right onto Lake Street. Turn left on Forest. Follow Forest to Sheridan Road. Turn right; the Visitor Center will be on the right.
FROM THE WEST/SOUTHWEST, VIA I-55 OR I-80
Take I-55 to I-90/I-94 North (Note: If taking I-80, go east to I-55 North) When I-90/I-94 splits, bear to the right and stay on I-94 West. Take I-94 West north to the Dempster Street exit. Take Dempster east for five miles. Turn left onto Ridge Avenue. Turn right onto Lake Street. Turn left on Forest. Follow Forest to Sheridan Road. Turn right; the Visitor Center will be on the right.
FROM THE SOUTH/SOUTHEAST, VIA I-94, I-90, I-80 OR I-57
If taking 1-80, take I-94 North when it splits from I-80 south of Chicago; if taking I-57, merge with I-94 North when I-57 ends in south Chicago; If taking I-90, merge with I-94 North in south Chicago.
When I-90/I-94 splits, bear to the right and stay on I-94 West. Take I-94 West north to the Dempster Street exit. Take Dempster Street east for five miles. Turn left onto Ridge Avenue. Turn right onto Lake Street. Turn left on Forest. Follow Forest to Sheridan Road. Turn right; the Visitor Center will be on the right.
PARKING
LOCATION: Parking is available at the South Campus Parking Garage adjoining the Segal Visitors Center. This is the closest garage to Norris University Center, the ISTTT22 event site. Parking is free in the garage on Saturday and Sunday. (Pull a ticket at the entrance of the garage and insert the same ticket at the exit. The gate arms will raise and there is no fee assessed).
COST: Monday through Friday, visitors are assessed an $8.00 daily fee when parking in the garage. A ticket is issued to parkers at the entrance to the garage. Payment can be made either at the kiosks located on the ground level of the garage or at the exit lane. A paid ticket is required to exit.
