Application Process:
US-based graduate and undergraduate students interested in the 2018 session should send their application materials to Dr. Marc Walton marc.walton@northwestern.edu by January 31, 2018 for consideration.
Application materials must consist of the following:
- A resumé
- A cover letter explaining how you can contribute to a selected research stream and how you might use social media to expand the benefits of this research experience abroad to other students
- A recommendation letter
- Transcripts of academic records
- A writing sample
Important dates and deadlines:
- January 31st: applications due electronically
- February 20th: notification of acceptance to top five candidates
- May: Virtual pre-departure preparation workshop for participants and sponsors to interact
- June–July: 8 week research period abroad at the Atelier Building
