Patrick Horton is a 5th-Year PhD candidate in music education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from the Ohio State University and a master’s degree in music education from Ball State University. Prior to his studies at Northwestern, Patrick taught secondary instrumental music and music technology for 11 years in Ohio and Indiana. His current academic interests include technology in music education, creativity in instrumental music, and the incorporation of non-Western music into the music classroom.
